It's probably not "real Swedish" but an adaptation to some process management system where they work with different "ärenden" (cases), some tagged "information", others "beslut".

Also see my response to "beslutsärende". An "information item" or "item for information" on an agenda is essentially correct, but without the context of an agenda, process or proceeding could be a viable alternative.
