Spanish term

dando pico de jarabe

Spanish to English Other Slang
This is a comment from an employee referring to two other employees who spend their time at the "front end of the store dando pico de jarabe.."

Apparently the one employee is very unhappy with the two other employees so it sounds to me like it might mean "wasting time" or "gossiping" but I'm not sure. We are not sure what country they are from either.

thanks!

Tom Ford who I now much respect walked over to the waiting Panda crew and began to ask questions about what we were up to, within minutes the conversation went the way of a group of car enthusiasts ***nattering together** & telling story's and was without doubt, one of the highlights of the day.
