Music
I'm not a specialist in this area, but have been asked to edit this text.
"PIANO Y MÚSICA DE CÁMARA
Repertorio: Obras para piano, piano a cuatro manos y música de cámara de grado elemental, medio y superior. A libre elección.
Temas: La evolución de la técnica del piano y la música de cámara durante el siglo XX. Las nuevas grafías."
The other translator has put "The new graphs."
I'm not sure that sounds right....

NEW SOUNDS
it may mean 'new sounds' because it's talking about 'evoluciòn' which involves a development from a old music to a new one!In this case the word 'grafìa' which means 'writing' could be referred to the sheet music

better...and 'new' can refer not only to the today's music but also to a new way to do it!
I hope to be useful

New scripts or new musical annotations or new score
Usually grafia in music refers to those circle and other marks in black on six lines tht musicians use as their universal language - musical script. If you put both the English term and the Portuguese term into google and request image, it should be clear.
Note from asker:
Hi Melissa, thanks - that's what I kind of thought it was, but wasn't sure of the right term... I thought of "score". It would be good if a specialist could confirm... |

the new symbols
I am not a pianist but I studied piano for thirteen years and "graphs" sounds strange to me, also.
Look at this reference:
Guide to the pianist's repertoire - Google Books Result
by Maurice Hinson - 2000 - Music - 933 pages
Each of these thirteen pieces deals with some problem of contemporary music. Some are highly dissonant. New symbols are used for pedal markings: full pedal. ...

What the agency sent you is very helpful. Those are not the traditional symbols that are used. Instead of a sharp (sostenido), it only goes up 1/4, and the same with the flat (bemol), going down 1/4 instead of a half tone. They symbols are indeed new, and do not represent the traditional annotation or symbols that Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Handel, etc. used.
