The problem is that these fuels are what the document is all about, so it could be quite a serious omission not to translate the LO.

I'd say you're OK, I don't know what LO. is exactly, but it's sure to refer to the octane, and it's not low, 98 is pretty good stuff.

98 Octane, as Henry says, is normally refered to as high octane maybe it is a typo?

The LO. is repeated so I don't think it's a typo. I can use "98 octane" but that seems to imply just ignoring the LO.
