Discussion

Neil Ashby Mar 18, 2019:
No problem whatsoever, thanks for looking in your TM.
BristolTEc (asker) Mar 18, 2019:
Dear Neil
I wish I could help you. As you say, I really can't remember what else I might have found 11 years ago and I can't even find what I finally used as the translation in my TM from the time. Sorry.
Neil Ashby Mar 18, 2019:
Hi BristolTEc I'd love to know how you resolved this... 11 years later, I guess it's a bit late!
I have a similar problem "IT 1B" for a prostate biopsy.
BristolTEc (asker) Dec 12, 2008:
Thanks David for the suggestion.
David Shield Dec 12, 2008:
It seems to me that this is a pathological classification scheme for bone marrow biopsies. See pubmed.org and search for PMID 12215011. "SIT" could be the name of the scheme or the source location of the biopsy? Just guessing! Good luck!

I do not know what SIT means at all! My answer is an informed guess. Check my confidence level.
Note from asker:
Why would "SIT" be used to indicate "marked". Any basis for that?
