Discussion

Muriel Vasconcellos May 13, 2010:
It's hard to answer without more context This could beliteral, as in the case of blacks having to drink from a different public water fountain (Edward's examples), but because of "nutrirse," I'm tending think it's metaphoric.

So we need more context, please.

¡Hola! ¿Podrías dar más contexto?

you can also use "draw from the same well" if you're looking for a less formal option!

(1) draw nourishment from the same sources OR: (2) drink from the same well

Since it's unclear whether the meaning is literal or metaphoric, answer (2), which would work in either case, would probably be a better choice.
