REMITA

Non-PRO Spanish to English Law/Patents Law (general)
EN LA FECHA XX/XX/XXXX SE RECIBIO ESCRITO POR PARTE DE YYYYYYYY MEDIANTE EL CUAL SOLICITA SE PIDA INFORME A LA LIC. IIIIIII SUPERVISORA DEL CENTRO DE CONVIVENCIA FAMILIAR DE PODER JUDICIAL A EFECTO DE QUE REMITA TODOS Y CADA UNO DE LOS REPORTES DE CONVIVENCIA SUPERVISADA UE SE LLEVAN A CABO ENTRE EL INVESTIGADOR Y LAS MENORES.

My guess is that they want to know about the reports on the supervised visits. How would you say CENTRO DE CONVIVENCIA FAMILIAR DE PODER JUDICIAL? I don't know if it is brain fog but I just can't seem to figure out how to word this. Thanks for your help.

This definitely has nothing to do with income, does it?

This is out of Mexico. The target country is the US.
Change log

Oct 27, 2024 13:49: Jennifer Levey changed "Level" from "PRO" to "Non-PRO"

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (3): philgoddard, patinba, Jennifer Levey

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

AllegroTrans Oct 27:
Really useful info for our US colleague "PS the UK Legal-Aid 'Green-Form Scheme' used to allow a free slot of 30 minutes of Solicitors' advice that is equivalent, on ProZ, to my own quota of three minutes a day of advice."
Charles Davis Oct 26:
@yolanda If you want to ask about "Centro de Convivencia Familiar de Poder Judicial" (NB. it should be "del Poder Judicial"), you'll have to put it in a separate question.

Spanish term (edited): a efecto de que remita

in order that (she) forward; for the purpose of (her) forwarding

NB Charles D's exhortation: 'Centro de Convivencia Familiar de Poder Judicial (NB. it should be "del Poder Judicial"), you'll have to put it in a separate question.'

> remita is subjunctive mood, so (does) forward as opposed to forwards.

LA LIC. IIIIIII SUPERVISORA : she, her or the latter(')s forwarding...

'This definitely has nothing to do with income, does it?' - unlikely, though this query verges on free legal Mexican advice, so needs (to) be posted as such on the ProZ Forum for our venerable Mexican and allied colleagues to answer, as appropriate.

PS the UK Legal-Aid 'Green-Form Scheme' used to allow a free slot of 30 minutes of Solicitors' advice that is equivalent, on ProZ, to my own quota of three minutes a day of advice.
Example sentence:

provides that the national authorising officer is to forward a report to the Commission on the implementation of the multiannual programmes.
