I've seen this term as "harbored" or "protected" and I believe it may be referring to sheltered securities but am very uncertain. Thanks.

It is hereby agreed that this acquisition will be void and will therefore cancel all title which it covers, consequently reducing the Share Capital of the corresponding Party
You haven't said what is being acquired, but I think it means "underlying" or "of which it consists".
