Carpark regulations
text from Spain regarding user regulations for a carpark, "horizontally signposted" doesn't convince me, is this just redundancy and is "signposted" OK alone? Here's the context and TIA!
Excepcionalmente y en casos en los que el servicio lo aconseje podrán habilitarse para estacionamiento zonas no *señalizadas horizontalmente* pero que permitan estacionar sin impedir la normal circulación y funcionalidad de los aparcamientos. En estos casos la circunstancia será generalmente indicada por los empleados de los aparcamientos y/o los servicios de seguridad de los mismos.

I would call it an unmarked parking spaces. I wouldn't worry too much about whether the signs are vertical or horizontal since we usually don't specify that in English.

: in Spanish, in the context of "senalización": "horizontal" means "painted on the ground" whereas "vertical" means "signposts"

It parobably means marked out/painted on the ground.
