Context: my main doubt is how do you call this kind of programs? each episode has a different content, it deals with a specific social issue, includes interviews... the host is always the same person... (probable as those in the History Channel...)

The program was broadcast featuring 20 ¿? episodes during the 2005 / 2006 season, in the prime time of XX TV channel, which is the most important open signal in the country, and was later continued in the format of “Special editions”.

I don't think I would include a translation of "periodistico" in the English version, as I think in English, a "documentary" is assumed to be journalistic anyway
