Spanish term

al interno de

Spanish to English Other General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
I'm pretty sure this is just a way of saying "within", but would like confirmation, if possible, please.

Many thanks

PS I have put this under "general" because although it is a social project, my question is unrelated to the field.

PS - just to say as well, that I'm only asking this question for confirmation of my understanding as I've never heard the phrase "al interno de", at least not in this context.

I'd never heard this particular piece of verbiage before, but references support your interpretation!

Does seem to be slightly more common in Lat Am usage.
Note from asker:
Hi Noni, I guessed it was more of a Latin American thing, but wasn't sure...Thanks very much. Verbiage is exactly the right word for these "social-related texts! LOL

Saludos.
