¿Qué significa "parón" es español de España?
¿Puede ser traducción de "gridlock"?
La situación es un policía que creo se saca una foto con un ladrón de peso que acaba detener [no está muy claro, son diálogos, alguien grita "¡Gridlock!", no es embotellamiento ni paro de trabajadores :)] Muchas gracias

Esta pregunta está mal planteada. Si la traducción es del inglés al castellano, el término que debe figurar en la pregunta no es "parón", sino "gridlock", con el contexto correspondiente.

But I can't yet see a link through to your context. The only thing that occurs is "gotcha"!

Normally it's a blackout, electricity lines down again for whatever reason - in fact last night they were talking about the many times one of the high security prisons here has been without power because of someone stealing the copper from the elec lines.
