Does anyone know what these are called in English please?
Everytime I search for "Garfitos" the browsers change it to "Grafitos"
They are like "Gusanitos" but with different flavours.
Sorry I can't give more context, it is just a list of products to be translated into English
Thanks for your help

Corn snacks
"Garfitos" is just the name that the manufacturer has given, so as not to use cheetos or gusanitos, etc. I don't see how you can translate that. You could call them Garfito corn snacks. Here is a thread on a similar predicament:

There are probably quite a few names for them, Eileen. I'm not really familiar with corn puffs but it's probably the same thing. They are all corn snacks I suppose but have different names depending on their form. Yucky no, they're delicious!

Note from asker:
Ahhh, so Cheetos, etc are registered names Marie. Thank you very much for your help. I also found corn puffs, but not sure that they are the same as "gusanitos" as I no longer live in the UK and haven't seen such things in the shops and rarely look for them. Yuckkky Ha ha ha. |

: Hi Marie. I think this is too general; corn snacks come in many shapes, sizes, flavours and degrees of crunchiness, but garfitos, like ganchitos, are always puffed, shaped like short curved sticks, and cheese flavoured.

I think the problem is that most people call them by brand names,, Wotsits, Cheetos, etc For somebidy who doesn't like them, you know your snacks!.

(By the way, I hate these things and never buy them. They taste horrible and get stuck in your teeth. But I have sons who used to love them, though they've fortunately outgrown their addiction.)

"These cheese curls were (ironically) barely curled at all, despite the picture on the bag showing the arc shape typical of cheese curls. The straight curls were thick and had a bright orange color overall, plus a handful of black spots on each piece. I crunched in to find that these were some of the best cheese curls ever, with a top-notch texture and taste."

And garfitos are in theory curvy, or at least the picture on the pack is:
"Garfitos: Producto de aperitivo horneado con delicioso sabor a queso."

"Cheese curls" is not a brand name; it's generic. So it can be freely used. There's no need to mention corn; they're always made of corn.
Cheese puffs, cheese curls, cheese balls, cheesy puffs, corn curls, or corn cheese are a puffed corn snack, coated with a mixture of cheese or cheese-flavored powders.

Curls/puffs are quite similar. So, Eileen, however you wish to call them, but as Marie said "corn .... (cheese flavoured) or "cheese flavoured corn ....", or "snacks" as previously suggested.
which is what I meant in the first place. Regards.
