And I have no idea what you mean re "displacement of the phrase": ......... by determining the likely maximum entropy probability distribution (closest to the species occurrence data). IMO, you don't need "likely" (the Spanish reads: [....] mediante la búsqueda de la distribución probable de máxima entropía (más cercano a los datos de presencia de la especie) which from other questions you have posted should read "....determining the maximum entropy probability distribution (closest to the species occurrence data). "Likely" and "probable" are synonyms. That is how I see it!
