Probate Officers
I am sure for the end of 20th and 21st centuries but not exactly for the time described. Therefoore, I would probably use like that: "Court police officers (probate officers) ......."

Есть мнение, что в судебная полиция в царской России исполняла те же функции, что и современные судебные исполнители.
