Russian term
торговый модуль
Russian to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
A business property (a marketplace) for sale includes "здание рынка и 152 торговых модуля."
"Trading module" in English seems to refer to online stock trading, which is not relevant. The photos online seem to refer to display cases in which merchandise is placed. But I can't confirm "display unit" or "display case" or even "display module" (which sounds weird) as the meaning.
Thanks for any help!

If you didn't mention the photos, I would have said retail locations or points of sale, or maybe even kiosks as I understand those hideous budkas at consumer goods markets are called. In any case, it's gotta be retail something, rather than "trading something" as you correctly surmised. Cheers, Susan, drop me a line sometime.
Note from asker:
Thanks, Misha. Looking at the photos online, I was trying to think of the word "kiosk" but it wouldn't come to me. When I need an English idiom, I know I can always turn to you! |

market booth
How about "market booth" or "market stall"? I know these terms are usually used for temporary installations, but either one may work in this case. My second choice would simply be "store" or "shop" (In a shopping center there are numerous shops or stores)
