: Are you sure it's not "recension"?//I was only enquiring. I don't pretend to be an expert on Portuguese.

"recensão" and "recension" may well be another example of false friends. While it only means "critical appreciation" in Portuguese, it seems to mean, to me at least, the editing of a text in English.
