Portuguese to English Other Other Idiom

I am translating a series of e-mails from Portugal that have to do with negotiations to purchase a company. After explaining best and worst case scenarios, including financial data in preparation for a meeting, this comment is made partially in Portuguese and English: "Bom, digest este "Joelho de Porco com Salada Russa" no avião." Obviously, he is being told to study the data while traveling on the plane to the meeting. A Russian Salad is a mixed salad containing potatoes, vegetables and several kinds of meat, which uses mayonnaise as a binder. How could this best be phrased in US English? Would "mixed bag" work?
