salt-baked potatoes or just baked potatoes

So - the potatoes are baked (not roasted) - they are baked in their skins, in the oven, on a bed of sea salt. Then, once they are cooked, they are hit a bit to slightly crush them. BUT I would not say this as it sounds silly and you can't really tell that the potatoes have been "smashed or punched", so I would either put "baked potatoes" or "salt-baked potatoes".
(I went to a cooking class where I learnt how to make them as part of a dish, and have eaten them loads of times in restaurants, and have translated this before more than once!!).
