mass

Literally, it is "an accumulation," but in the medical sense I think "mass" is adequate, and more readily recognized.

FYI: 集積回路 is "Integrated Circuitry"

It depends, too, if they are talking about "tissue" or something else (such as kidney stones, blood clots, etc.)

Accumulation

集積=積の集まり ie. A collection of product.

I would call that an accumulation.

massa

I can basically agree with the suggestion from Ms. Tina Wooden. However, "massa (pl. massae [pronounced as mas'se])"―塊 [Katamari](細胞の集積または凝集した組織に対する一般用語); pronounced as "mas'ah"―is more suitable to it.
