This is a term annotating 振替支払 transactions on a bank statement. My guess is it means that the date noted for the transaction may be later (a day or so) than the actual transaction? But I'm not sure of that, nor of a good translation. Thanks.

This could be the name of a category of accounting entries which are made later than their actual date of occurrence. If you know what are being entered, you can write "Transactions entered at a later date".
The delay in making the accounting entries can be due to several reasons, such as finalizing the transaction has taken time and for the sake of some convenience the entries are made at a date later than the actual occurrence of the transaction, for example.
Translating in this manner makes it concise as well as avoids the confusion of having to specify whether the entering has been done or not (which probably is not clear anyway). Also, 記載in accounting always refers to making ledger or other entries.

I don't know if there is any 定訳 for this expression but this is as closely as I can come to describe in as concisely as possible though there ought to be many different ways of saying this.

If you need to find out, I suggest you go back to the source (client) for further clarifications. Fund transfer to be posted on a later date
If a fund transfer (振替支払) was scheduled for a future date, that transaction would be posted on your account on a later date. But a statement issued before the date of transaction would show the scheduled transfer on the account, saying transaction X is scheduled on date Y. In this case, the statement would note that the transaction of the scheduled transfer is to be posted on your account on a later date.
