Maaf kalau saya memberikan jawaban yang mungkin agak berbeda dari lainnya. Jawaban dari Eddie dan Hikmat sudah pas, hanya saja kalau mau lebih "pedas" bisa menggunakan idiom "fall on deaf ears".

If you look at Google hits you will find that the understated 'cool reception' gets more hits than 'cold reception' - and often 'cold reception' is used as a play on words when there has actually been some freakish coldness about the reception rather than ordinary hostility or disinterest.
