German to English Law/Patents Real Estate
I am translating a text about differences between property ownership, leases etc in Germany and the UK. It refers to the following

Bei der rechtlichen Begründung der leases unterscheidet man zwischen leasehold estates, die als legal interest einen echten dinglichen Besitztitel vermitteln, und aller sonstigen leases, die lediglich in equity entstehen.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your comments. I have researched words on the web but was also keen to have some feedback from any translators in the proz community with more knowledge in this field. This is a small property section in a much larger document concerning other subject matters where I am far better qualified and I just want to be sure that the vocab used here is appropriate.
