German term

EA

German to English Bus/Financial Real Estate
from a German property tax statement:

Zahlungsplan
Objekt EA Forderung alt Veränderung ....

Gesamt:
Es besteht ein Abbuchungsverfahren

couldn't be einstweilige Anordnung -- really doesn't make sense, does it?!
Objekt EA BLZ Bankbezeichnung
0000 20.00 xxx xxxxxxxxx
Change log

Jan 13, 2008 14:38: Steffen Walter changed "Edited KOG entry" from "<a href="/profile/8918">Elisabeth Moser's</a> old entry - "EA "" to ""(co-)ownership share""

Discussion

Elisabeth Moser (asker) Jan 11, 2008:
Hi there,
the EA is above the 20.00

and one time in a line above -- below the heading payment schedule are the same columns starting with Objekt followed by EA
David Moore (X) Jan 11, 2008:
Hi Lis; is the penultimate line one of column headings? IOW, does the "EA" belong above the "20.00 (and what are they - euro?)", and the "BLZ" above the "xxx"? 'Coz that could help; otherwise I'm not too convinced by any of the answers posted yet either..

German term (edited): EA - Eigentumsanteil
Selected

(co-)ownership share

Another "educated guess", depending on further context...

See http://www.bill24.ch/pdf/u_hk-kwa_d.pdf (p. 4, "Kaltwasserkosten", EA = Eigentumsanteile).

Another, more remote possibility could be "Einzelabrechnung" (per-user/single-user/owner settlement or similar).
Note from asker:
Thanks, I think this is closer than anything for far and would make some sense.
Peer comment(s):

agree Paul Skidmore : eigentumsanteil sounds plausible here

agree Veronika McLaren : sounds right

is the standard US phrase

Note from asker:
I have a question: real estate taxes are not dependent on income-level?! why then would income restrictions apply? Please clarify? Thanks.

Einzelabschluss - single entity financial statements

Abbreviation of Einzelabschluss - single entity financial statements (cf. Arthur Andersen's Professional Dictionary on Accounting Tax Banking EDP) as opposed to consolidated financial statements
Note from asker:
Here again, I got a question: This is an assessment of property taxes not a financial statement?! so would it still be Einzelabschluß??? Thanks, Lis

There's a property tax relief (Hardship relief program) for homeowners with low or moderate income:

If this applies to Germany, I can't tell.
