German term

in einer Anreihrichtung aneinander gereiht angeordnet

German to English Tech/Engineering Patents process engineering
The text includes a claim for a Reihenbausteinanordnung,....mit Reihenbausteinen, DIE IN EINER ANREIHRICHTUNG ANEINANDER GEREIHT ANGEORDNET SIND... The text has, within the space of a few words, a multiplicity of words based on "Reihe," but not much clarity. Thanks to anyone who can shed light on this.

Discussion

Heike Holthaus Feb 9, 2015:
Anreihrichtung = direction of attaching or direction of lining up
Löserichtung = direction of loosening

The modules are attached (or lined up) in direction 71 and loosen in the opposite direction (also 71 in the drawings)

Proposed translations

23 mins

row components (or sequential components) arranged in succession in a given row direction

(More information is needed in order to guess the nature of the Reihenbausteinen.)
Peer comment(s):

neutral Darin Fitzpatrick : I would be careful with "in succession", as that implies a sequence. This passage looks like it refers only to the spatial arrangement.
