German term
ohne Trend mit anschließendem Rückgang
German to English
Medical
Medical: Pharmaceuticals
Results of clinical trial of test drug
This concerns the blood values of human subjects in a clinical trial. I'm stumped by the last part of this sentence. Does this mean that the higher values did not represent a trend and fell back subsequently? Would greatly appreciate some expert advice here.

without a trend showing subsequent normalization / decrease

"ohne Trend" means a sort of statistical statement (trend towards significance between groups, or not?).
See use of "without a trend" related to stratified age groups in this article (page 1, bottom left column):

IMO there is still a need to clarify this even more. I see two parts of your question:
a. What is "zurückgehend" - the answer: the elevated liver enzyme values are decreasing, normalizing
b. What does "ohne Trend" mean in this context?
(The "und" - "und mit anschließendem ..." would make the sentence clearer, as Anne wrote above.)
answer to b.:
Evaluating the cases demonstrating these elevated values, investigators war not able to find any statistical trend or an indication for a specific correlation with another variable (maybe to the therapy they had received before the increase? The details of this study are needed to identify this/these other "variable(s)".)
e.g., the article above, my second URL:
Here the parameter observed was the positive HBsAG test in Vietnamese people. They stratified the sample in several age groups and did not find any trend towards a specific correlation between age group and positive HBsAG.
