• Annäherungs- oder *Druckversuche*, verbunden mit Hinweisen auf Vor- oder Nachteile am Arbeitsplatz

I agree with Translations4IT in the sense that I think you are reading too much into this bullet point. I think it is "merely" someone try to put pressure on an employee by making either threats or promises, i.e. advantages (if you do this, I'll see you benefit) or disadvantages (if you don't do this, watch out!).
The boss (?) is trying to wheedle his way in by offering advancement or, failing that, making himself nasty by saying what he will do if he doesn't get his way
