Talking about repairing fibre composite materials (re. aircraft components). This seems very odd usage of "bezüglich". What does it actually mean here? The truncated part of the sentence just goes on the say whetehr these deviations/discrepancies need to be documented or are not permissible at all.

I am not sure that we can change this basic structure unless we know for sure that deviations were "caused" by damage or are merely rendered as damage.
If they're caused by damage, I'd opt for "due to damage"
