This is a description of a type of "Verarbeitungspistole" (a word I have already asked about). I have absolutely no idea what an Aufnahmeadapter is - there are just so many possibilities for the Aufnahme part. And of course, I can't find a translation anywhere. Laixicon might have it, but Laixicon is down, which is the last thing I need, but never mind. TIA for your assistance.

BTW, the word "adaptor" tends to be favoured by BE, the rest of the world seems not to be bothered, but "adapter" is commoner.
