Would you guys say that "Green Building" is an umbrella concept covering more than just the actual method of construction? If not, I'd be keen to learn of others' preferences between environmentally-friendly, energy-friendly or whatever.

Context is thin and not important IMO: "28 Reihenhäuser in Passivbauweise in Karlsruhe-Hohenwettersbach"

\"Germany\'s Passiv Haus Institut (PHI) has become a leading centre in developing a specification for the next generation of energy efficient buildings, the Passive House Standard. In 400 residential buildings the standard has reduced total energy consumption to 12% of the UK norm. The approach has now been applied to an office and factory in Colbe, Marburg.\"

I found this definition on http://www.planetproperty.de/magazine/dictionary_detail.phtm...
Passivbauweise
Building techniques
