As opposed to Wartungsbetriebsart. How can I distinguish betweenh the two, given that Materialerhaltung evidently also means maintenance?

Awaiting confirmation From the overall context it seems very much like the two terms are completely synonymous, but I'm awaiting confirmation from the customer. Will let you know as and when I hear.

You can eiterh translate "Erhaltung" as maintenance and "Wartung" as servicing or, alternatively, "Erhaltung" as preservation and "Wartung" as maintenance.
