This is the League giving Syria some lip service. Syria's OWN extensive operations there had to be reduced after massive protest last year. But (in other words), Lebanon still remains within their 'sphere of influence' - no one else's (not Iran's).

I tried to add a note, but it doesn't seem to be working. I was going to add "was supported"/"there was support for the Syrian position/Syria's position ..." as a couple of other ways of putting it.

...perhaps you ought to try and not isolate these 2 words (so as to avoid a literal word for word translation). When concepts are translated, its ok to add in underlying words (which are not mentioned in the original text). Hope this helps, have fun!

The Syrian position of "no foreign intervention" received support.

Maybe something like this (se voir having a passive meaning). Foreign probably means Western, given Syria's recent history in Lebanese affairs.

Though the crisis in Lebanon is not mentioned in the final text, Syria finds herself (or is) pronouncedly against foreign intervention.

Could also be "ever against" or "always against" - hard to tell.
