I think NewCal is right, it is almost bound to be a typo.
In view of that, I would also be slightly wary of 'contacteurs' — not immediately obvious why they would be applicable here, and it is just possible it was meant to be something more to do with 'contacts'... Check carefully with the rest of your context to see if it may be explained elsewhere.

: I wonder if it should be"are" rather than "shall be". If it's some kind of inspection report implying they should be rivitted but they are only screwed?

Thanks, Terry! yes, you're possibly right; I was reading it as if a set of specifications, but if it is an inspection report, then definitely, yes. As usual, context is all!
