French term

sur toute la ligne

French to English Other Other slimming products
Is there a pun in this expression? The context is slimming products and the sentences read as follows:

"Etre au top de sa forme, gérer son tonus et préserver sa silhouette au fil des saison ... Pas toujours facile de rester sereine **sur toute la ligne**"

and later on:

"XXX: une formule active efficace **sur toute la ligne**"

Many TIA.

ligne = figure

Yes, it is a play on words.

Sur toute la ligne = from start to finish/throughout

la ligne = figure (je fais attention à ma ligne = I'm watching my figure/weight)

So, I guess you have to figure out how goofy you want to get with the translation. There are all kinds of expressions you could use with "figure" but you would be getting away from the meaning of the expression in French.
