I think perhaps the term is better known in America as:
"bilateral Ilio-obturator node dissection" ("curage" involves removing the cancerous node or lump as would "dissection"). I later did a google search (initially in yahoo) and found many more hits for "bilateral Ilio-obturator node dissection" in reference to the "cystoprostatectomy" (the operation for the bladder tumor).
