French term

reconstruction en coupes fines des images de différentes parties

French to English Science Forestry / Wood / Timber tomography
This is in relation to tomography (tomodensitométrie) used to analyze wood density in trees:

"cette technique permet la reconstruction en coupes fines des images de différentes parties de la tige découpée en petits cubes"

Is my wording (below) in English correct? (I don't quite understand if the reconstruction uses the cubes to reconstruct the image in thin slices, or if the cubes result from the reconstruction)

"this technique enables thin section reconstruction of images from various parts of the stem divided into in small cubes"

Thanks everyone!

Yes, your translation is correct, except you've put "into in".
