Alain's wording is not wrong, but I might try: Unsubstantiated allegations aside, Greenpeace's arguments are based solely on its objection to timber exploitation in Cameroon using "salvage" permits (Autorisation de Récupération des Bois, ARB 100.3001) or something like that, though I have taken some liberties here for the sake of readability.

Nikki Scott-Despaigne Jan 11, 2012: for "ne...que" Rather than 'onl'y, perhaps 'soley' or 'purely' may read more smoothly, depending on how you turn the rest of the phrase of course.
cc in nyc Jan 11, 2012: Please reconsider You may want to adjust the parsing before continuing... ne... que : only étayer concrètement sa démonstration : support his argument in concrete terms s’appuyer sur : lean on, rely on ...or something like that. Then you'll need to revise the rest to suit.
