netting
This international company is introducing a new IT system for carrying out netting transactions between its different subsidiaries. One system user has asked the question, "Pourquoi ne pas déboucler les opérations de netting directement en compte courant ?"
Can déboucler simply mean 'pay' in this instance, or is it more specific than this?
Thanks for any help.

"deboucler" means to "unbuckle", therefore I think "release" fits well " releasing funds into something", "pour" would work well also

I would say that to pay would be fine as long as it is used with the sense of putting it in directly (which it says in the sentence) or "put straight into the account"
