French term

résiduels (used as a noun)

French to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Chlorination; water
As far as I know, 'résiduel' is usually an adjective in French. I am not sure whether it is used in the context below to mean 'residual chlorine' or 'chorine residue' - which is slightly different... any ideas?

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thanks Bourth - this was very helpful and fitted my context perfectly. Whilst the other answer was technically correct, 'residual chlorine levels' sounded much better and it is what I used. I am glad to see that you have not stopped answering my questions. Apparently there have been unfounded rumours circulating about my rates being low (which they are not - they are on a par with many others!) in an attempt to ostracize me, which is in breach of Proz.com rules, not to mention childish. So thank you for not having allowed yourself to become 'infected'. It appears the forums (a.k.a 'fora') might need an extra dose of chlorination to get rid of the germs! "
