As it appears to be part of a reference, even if it does stand for "acte délivré", I think that as such, it ought to be left as is. Anyone sarching that particular deed of mariage will not find it with "D.I.xxx" (deed issued XXX), but with "A.D.".

ALthough this is Canada, it may even stand for "Archives départementales" see the bottom of page 5 of the PDF above, which is for Canada with some references to events in France.

If you need to be sure about what it actually stands for, for a footnote, for exemple, then I reckon your safest solution is to ask the client. I still maintain that as a reference, it should remain unchanged in the body of the translated version.
