CONTEXT: 44077. Disque de miroir fragmentaire, muni d'une partie de sa monture. - Bronze. [Pl. XVI] Technique: La même que dans le miroir précédent. [i.e., The cast disk is decorated using a burin. The tang or stem went back into the handgrip after passing through the capital.] ***Un peu plus de minutie dans le trait de la gravure;*** les particularités décoratives de la prêtresse sont plus nettes; le trône de la déesse est plus détaillé. A cela près, la main-d'oeuvre n'y est pas très supérieure. Les têtes d'Hâthor du chapiteau de la monture n'ont pas l'importance de la tête d'Horus dans le miroir précédent.
ATTEMPT: A bit more care/attention to detail in the engraving line; the decorative features of the priestess are more distinct; the throne of the goddess is more detailed.
ISSUE: I'm not sure the best way to translate this. I have assumed that the "more" refers to the engraving lines of the previous mirror. "Engraving lines" sounds a bit odd, but I can't think of anything more natural.

"somewhat more" might solve your peu plus problem, without violating any of Tony's precious "registers."

here, it is not 'les traits de gravure' in the plural ('lines' as you have it, but 'le trait' — so 'line' in the more abstract, artistic sense, cf. 'a strong line' etc.
Here, I would simply say 'Slightly more careful engraving' — do note that the very informal 'a bit more' would be totally out of register for the scholarly document you are dealing with here!
