While the GT3 Dodges look amazing, the Viper Le Mans car in particular is one of the best-looking cars in motorsport history. With its sleek low front, booming exhaust and distinctive red-white-and-blue livery, the car just oozes history and class.

thundering exhaust

Another suggestion.
Although this seems slightly odd mixed in with a description of the car's appearance - I guess it is part what gives the car its special character.

Funnily enough I came across a description of a model of this classic car in which the booming exhaust was provided by a loudspeaker! (Or, of course, the enthusiastic owner of the model).

vivid exhaust

Wow, all of the answers are great so far...
My favorite would actually be "intense", but it doesn't sound quite right followed by "exhaust"... "vivid exhaust" flows much better when spoken aloud. It also goes just as well in cartalk as "intense" does.
