Se trata de una norma sobre un sistema de protección contra rayos ubicado en buques.
Multiple ''air terminals'' shall be permitted to give the required zone of protection comprising overlapping zones of protection as described in 8.3.3.2.
8.3.3.4 An ''air terminal'' shall be securely fastened to the mast and connected to a main conductor as described in 8.4.1.
The top of an air terminal shall be sufficiently high that all masthead fittings are below the surface of a 90 degree inverted cone with its apex at the top of the ''air terminal''.
