English term

MAG COURSE

English to Spanish Tech/Engineering Ships, Sailing, Maritime Naval Form Terminology
Hello everyone,

Context: The name of the form is LOG-NAVIGATION DATA SHEET. It can even be downloaded empty on pdf from google. In the one I have, the information for a ship´s journey is filled in. There are many terms here I cannot find in my dictionaries.

The term:
In one column, this is written.
"MAG COURSE"

In navigation, I have read there is a difference between the "TRUE COURSE" and the "MAG COURSE". MAG stands for "MAGNETIC".
Under the "MAG COURSE" column, every single space is filled in with an "C".

I would assume a lot of this naval vocabulary, is standardized. So...

My try:
"TRAYECTORIA MAGNËTICA", or
"TRAYECTORIA MAG"?

Thank you for any help.

Fuente: https://www.nauticadvisor.com/blog/2016/07/28/rumbos-de-nave...

• "Magnetic Course - True course corrected for magnetic variation.

(…)

True Course - The aircraft's course over the ground relative to true north. True course is measured with a navigation plotter and a sectional map.". Fuente: https://www.thebalancecareers.com/aircraft-navigation-terms-...
