English term

to be take himself to it

English to Spanish Art/Literary Religion Commentary on Proverbs
Proverbs 20:4: "The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing."

He who will not work must beg, and this is surely a mean employment for a man who is able to work; but although he can conquer shame sufficiently ***to be take himself to it***, his misery is than nobody will give him anything, for why should drones eat the labor of the bees?

Discussion

No, it's not a typo.

Ana: Just for the heck of it, are you sure this is not a typo? I notice that further down the line you have one. So ....

Creo que sobra "be": ...to take himself to it...
