English term

for anything he does out of it

English to Spanish Art/Literary Religion proverbs
Proverbs 10:5: "He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame."
Summer and harvest are the fit seasons for rearing and gathering in the fruits of the field. He who improves these and similar opportunities for honest gain does honor to himself and to those who had the care of his education. He who neglects them is like one who sleeps all the time he should be working. It would be a shame for a man in health to spend all his days in bed. The idle man might as well be there **for anything he does our of it**. He brings disgrace to himself and to his father who ought to have trained him to habits of prudence and diligence.

El gandul, para lo que hace levantado, ....
Peer comment(s):

agree Ricardo Eid : Lo de "gandul" por "idle man", bien, si el público lector será español.

agree Jorge Alonso Ruiz : For "idle man" I think ocioso is more precise. Perezos= lazy is better than gandul in this context.
