Can you say with truth, "I was dead, and am alive again; I was blind, but now I see"?

Hola, Ana.

"ESTUVE MUERTO Y AHORA VIVO"
(Apocalipsis 1:18)

"ESTABA CIEGO Y AHORA VEO"

Curación del ciego de nacimiento
(Juan 9-25)

"La fe en la Eucaristía hará que los falsos conceptos y prejuicios, que habían entorpecido la inteligencia y oscurecido la contemplación de las cosas celestiales, se derritan como nieve bajo el sol; y quien hasta el presente había andado en tinieblas, ahora, rebosando el corazón de gozo, exclamará: **Lo único que sé es que yo antes estaba ciego y ahora veo (Jn 9, 25)**.

APOCALYPSE

Revelation
Chapter 1

\"Then I turned to see whose voice it was that spoke to me, and when I turned, I saw seven gold lampstands
13
and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, 12 wearing an ankle-length robe, with a gold sash around his chest.
14
The hair of his head was as white as white wool or as snow, 13 and his eyes were like a fiery flame.
15
His feet were like polished brass refined in a furnace, 14 and his voice was like the sound of rushing water.
16
In his right hand he held seven stars. 15 A sharp two-edged sword came out of his mouth, and his face shone like the sun at its brightest.
17
When I caught sight of him, I fell down at his feet as though dead. 16 He touched me with his right hand and said, \"Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last,
18
the one who lives. **Once I was dead, but now I am alive forever and ever**. I hold the keys to death and the netherworld. 17
19
Write down, therefore, what you have seen, and what is happening, and what will happen afterwards. 18
20
This is the secret meaning 19 of the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches\".

The Apocalypse(Revelation)
... **Revelation also known as the Apocalypse**

www.users.ms11.net/~dejnarde/wtc.htm

Revelation 1:18 **I am he that liveth, and was dead**; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Testifying once again that He is the one that was a man, and that He died and that He now lives forever. Keys – are the mysteries, those things which are hidden from those that are not the sons of God. Because He has the keys, it is only He that can unlock or lock a door. For us, being one with Him and joint heirs with Him, the door has been unlocked and we have been given the keys, too\".

I WAS BLIND BUT NOW I SEE

John 9:13-41
Key Verse: 9:25

“He replied, ‘Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. **I was blind but now I see!’”**

In the last passage we learned that we must do the work of God while it is day. When we dwell in the light of Jesus, there is no fatalistic element in our lives. Rather, when we dwell in the light of Jesus we become strong in his grace and love, and we can display his glory, whatever we do. Today, we learn that it is important to hold on one grace of God in order to grow in Jesus. The Pharisees tested the man born blind to forget God’s grace. He did not yield to the pressure of the religious leaders. He did not forget one thing Jesus did for him but held the truth of God to the end. As a result Jesus opened his spiritual eyes and he received a complete healing and became a member of the kingdom of God. Here we learn how precious it is to remember God’s grace to the end. May God bless us to learn from the man born blind how to remember the grace of God to the end. I pray that we all may hold one grace of Jesus and believe in the Son so that we may see the kingdom of God with our spiritual eyes.

Look at verse 39. “Jesus said, ‘For judgment I have come into this world, **so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”** Jesus rebuked their spiritual blindness harshly. They were upset and asked, “What? Come on Jesus. **Are we blind too?** I have 20/20 vision.” They did not understand Jesus, the Messiah because **they live in darkness and refused to accept their blind condition**. The first step to gain our spiritual sight is to acknowledge that we are blind. Then we can have hope to see the spiritual world. Why is **spiritual blindness more serious than the physical blindness?** Look at verse 41. We remain guilty of our sins and become an object of God’s wrath but when we remember God’s grace,**“I once was blind but now I see,”** God gives us heavenly joy. God enables us to worship God only. May God bless you to have faith in the Son and have eternal life in the kingdom of God. Let’s read the key verse 25.\".

Amazing grace! (how sweet the sound)
That sav'd a wretch like me!
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears reliev'd;
How precious did that grace appear,
The hour I first believ'd!

Thro' many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promis'd good to me,
His word my hope secures;
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease;
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine;
But God, who call'd me here below,
Will be forever mine.

(http://www.apocalipsis.org/s-portr.htm)

English term (edited): I was dead, and am alive again...

Luke 7
22So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy[1] are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor.
Evangelio: Lucas 7,19-23
