English term

holds strong for

English to Spanish Art/Literary Religion New Religious Movements (NRMs)
In this chapter we will discuss new religions in China and Japan, with shorter sections on Korea and Vietnam. Leaving the West behind, we must revise what we learned earlier about new religions. Although our definition of NRMs as existing in tension with society ***holds strong for*** new religions in East Asia (as well as African and the Islamic world), those outside the West do not face condemnation from the anticult movement in the same way as their Western counterparts.
