According to the client, the Heart Plug is a stopper that gets placed into the hole to prevent glitter from coming out of the hole.

¿No podés confirmarlo con el cliente? Es la única acepción que encuentro para "heart plug". "plug" normalmente significa "tapón" (ear plugs = tapones para los oídos), además del sentido de enchufe.
No sé, sería bueno si pudieras confirmarlo con el cliente.

mmm, no estoy seguro.... Place the Glitter Dome onto
the Chamber, and twist counterclockwise
to lock into place. Make sure that the
heart-shaped plug is securely in place.

@Walter Sí, son para las orejas. ¿Nunca los viste? Mirá que en Uruguay también se ven... (aunque menos que en otros países). Hay de todas formas, se los ponen en las orejas y les terminan estirando los lóbulos...(una locura, para mi gusto, aunque sobre gustos..). Si la traducción es sobre tatuajes y eso, seguro tiene que ser expansores, si no podrían ser simplemente caravanas con forma de corazón, pero no creo. Los piercings y estas cosas generalmente las hacen en los lugares de tatuaje.
