Even in countries with a large number of helping programs, such as the U.K. or the U.S., only about half of the start-up teams are aware that such programs exist. This reflects, in part, the constant ***churning*** among the mass of start-up efforts. Every day new start-ups enter the pool and active start-ups quit or achieve profitability; program promotion needs to be continuous to capture those currently involved. Those that take advantage of helping programs, however, find them useful and would recommend them to others.
